As a photographer I have always photographed my friends and family. Unfortunately because of my busy schedule and limited time, I do this less and less. That’s why I was so happy when Sophie needed some photos for her new website, https://www.lesprittherapy.com/. I was so happy to spend this time with her. It was like ‘stopping to smell the roses’. Photographing Flowers
Almost everything has its pros and cons, its upside and downside, right? When it comes to photographing flowers, can you think of one downside? I can’t. For me, it was just a parade of beauty, joy and wonder. Each flower and each arrangement magnificent examples of creation, color, texture, design and form. Each one a miracle. Of course, I cannot fail to mention the talented and joyful family that makes flowers their business, Emma Borrell and her family at Kings Creek Florist. It was lovely to be with them.
Award Winning Sunbrella Ad Campaign
I love being part of a team, especially a creative team. This shoot from way back was a great experience. I loved the concept and tag lines. The hard work was mostly in logistics and production. We handled all production in house. From location scouting of four locations in South Florida; shipping, receiving and transport of branded merchandise; securing all necessary props, crew and permits. Photography of all elements took place over a period of two days. It all went off without a hitch. Sometimes when I’m not sure how to proceed in some area of my life (be it creative, personal, spiritual or financial), I go back to what inspires me and start again. Today I found some work in my archives that reminded me of my path. May not make sense to anyone but me, I know. What is inspiring your path?
