My family and I visited the Miccosukee Tribe Festival over the holidays. It was an awesome cultural celebration. The dancers, dressed in elaborate tribal costumes, were amazing! As were the stories of their past, present and future. Stories about physical and spiritual strength, values and wisdom. It’s hard to deny that all that comes before us remains a part of us in some way. So I’m wishing everyone #manyblessings in the new year! Especially, the blessing of knowing what from the past is worth expanding on and what is best left to shrink into the past. May creativity (God) and […]
As a photographer not a week goes by without friends, family and/or clients asking, ‘Can you photograph my kids, my family, my dog, so and so’s wedding?’, etc. Lol! I often want to say, ‘Yes!’, but I can’t! I am one person focusing on commercial photography and raising children. It seems my hours and minutes are always accounted for. Yet, when I do this kind of work, I love it! These photos were part of an auction for my girls school. A worthy cause. The Wallace family purchased my photo package, an afternoon with me and a photo book. Here […]

Looking back to a photo shoot with Miami Dolphin, Quarter Back, Chad Pennington for Reebok.
I was amazed at the emotional connection and feelings of love, joy and deep gratitude I felt as I walked away from it. Thoughts of drives to and from with my girls knowing they were growing and different each time they got in and out. All the photo shoots with my car loaded with gear, allowing me to be creative and earn a living. Often standing on top of it as a platform for me and my tripod. I thought of many good times jamming to loud music with family, friends and especially my girls. The lectures. The laughter. Holding […]
Industrial photography is a specialized field of photography which makes it possible for businesses to communicate with customers and other businesses showcasing their industrial processes, machines, and techniques. I thrive in these environments. Here is where I can indulge my curiosity and wonder about how things are made and where they come from. An understanding of how these products are marketed and used in daily life and in business to business consumption helps a lot. Photographing people at work, industrial machinery, locations and manufacturing processes requires a skilled photographer with years of experience. I have traveled to remote industrial facilities […]

Recent photoshoot for book project by Human Kinetics, Your Workout Perfected, by Nick Tumminello. Being in a gym feels like home to me. You wouldn’t necessarily know it by looking at me, but the gym and/or what it represents have always been close to my heart. That’s why I love photographing athletes. Witnessing the passion, dedication and the blessings of a fitness lifestyle. Always something to aspire to. And can you believe this guy, Korin Sutton, is a vegan body-builder? Healthy, clean eating looks goooood to me… I made these gifs just for the fun of adding motion. Lately I […]
