It’s such a blessing to have clients that really appreciate and support the arts. Not only do artists bring creativity, inspiration, joy and the ability to unite us in a common experience. They are also a link between art and commerce. We are all richer because of creative people. Miami is richer because of people who support the arts.
It’s what drives us in one way or another. I love construction sites. They are rich with metaphor and speak to me on a spiritual level. I was on my way to pick up my girls at school when I drove by someones new project. Stopped the car. Paused the schedule. Wandered around… present moment, beautiful moment. Briefly, there was no such thing as time…
As a photographer I have always photographed my friends and family. Unfortunately because of my busy schedule and limited time, I do this less and less. That’s why I was so happy when Sophie needed some photos for her new website, https://www.lesprittherapy.com/. I was so happy to spend this time with her. It was like ‘stopping to smell the roses’. I love these images of her. This has inspired […]
What an adventure this project was. Client: Laurie Lundquist (Artist, Sky Wave Bridges) and Broward Cultural Division. This airport is evolving daily and it is amazing to watch at any hour as light flows through […]

Almost everything has its pros and cons, its upside and downside, right? When it comes to photographing flowers, can you think of one downside? I can’t. For me, it was just a parade of beauty, joy and wonder. Each flower and each arrangement magnificent examples of creation, color, texture, design and form. Each one a miracle. Of course, I cannot fail to mention the talented and joyful family that makes flowers their business, Emma Borrell and her family at Kings Creek Florist. It was lovely to be with them.
Sometimes when I’m not sure how to proceed in some area of my life (be it creative, personal, spiritual or financial), I go back to what inspires me and start again. Today I found some work in my archives that reminded me of my path. May not make sense to anyone but me, I know. What is inspiring your path?
